A pine-shaded gem just steps from the resort. Two small coves with crystal-clear water, fine sand, and excellent snorkeling. Bring your own umbrella and supplies — this is nature at its purest.

Tip: Arrive before 10 AM in peak season to secure a shady spot under the pines.

Easy, right off the main road

Children: gentle entry, sandy bottom

A beautiful stretch of golden sand framed by pines, with a distinctive rocky islet about 200 meters offshore. Sunbeds and umbrellas available. Great for snorkeling around the rocks on the south end.

Tip: Parking fills up fast. The north end (near Isla Beach) has extra spaces even at noon.

One of Sithonia's most striking beaches. Stunning turquoise water with a mix of sand and fine pebbles. The Suen beach bar offers comfortable sunbeds with minimum consumption. Excellent snorkeling near the rocks on the right side.

Tip: The water colour here is extraordinary bring a waterproof camera.

Children: gets deep relatively quickly

A famous pine-forested beach with a small island 200 meters from shore. Golden sand, gorgeous water colors, and natural shade. Mini market nearby.

Tip: Best arrived early for a shaded spot in the forest. The south end is quieter.

One of Sithonia's most popular beaches. A long, crescent-shaped stretch of white sand near Nikiti village. Beautiful sunset views across the Toronean Gulf.

Tip: Stunning at golden hour. Combine with a stroll through Old Nikiti village for dinner.

Narrow road, but manageable

A quiet, hidden cove just south of Nikiti. Shallow sandy entry, olive groves above. One of the best-kept secrets on this coastline — rarely crowded even in August.

Tip: Perfect for families who want peace and quiet. Bring everything you need.

The main town beach of Nikiti, lined with tavernas, cafes, and bars along the waterfront. Long sandy stretch perfect for an evening stroll. Great sunset spot.

Tip: Visit the charming Old Nikiti village (500m uphill) lantern-lit streets, traditional architecture.

A long, family-friendly sandy beach just north of Neos Marmaras. Restaurants line the shore. Beautiful sunsets with views across the gulf.

Tip: Walk south along the coast into Neos Marmaras for shopping, nightlife, and waterfront dining.

The cosmopolitan heart of Sithonia. A large beach with bars, restaurants, and water sports stretching along the town waterfront. Porto Carras resort nearby.

Tip: The most vibrant evening scene in Sithonia. Great for a day-to-night beach experience.

Easy, via Vourvourou

Children: lagoon with knee-deep warm water, sandy bottom

A protected shallow lagoon that is absolute paradise for toddlers and young children. Water barely reaches adult knees in most areas. Clams, crabs, and a rock to jump from.

Tip: The ultimate family beach. Pack a picnic — there are no facilities.

Karydi (Vourvourou)

Easy but limited parking arrive early

Children: shallow, warm, white rocks

Arguably the most photogenic beach in all of Halkidiki. White sand, turquoise Caribbean-style water, pine trees to the edge. Phenomenal snorkeling on the right side.

Tip: Arrive before 10:30 AM or you won't find parking. The right side of the bay is quieter.

Kavourotrypes (Orange Beach)

Last stretch is unpaved; short walk to beach

Children: rocky coves, better for older children

The iconic beach of Halkidiki. A series of hidden coves carved into white rock, with impossibly turquoise water and pines reaching to the shore. The central Orange cove has a beach bar; surrounding coves are wild and secluded.

Tip: In peak season, arrive before 9 AM. The smaller coves to the left are far less crowded.

A spectacular 1 km beach with fine sand, crystal water, and direct views of Mount Athos. The amphitheater setting and pine backdrop make it unforgettable.

Tip: Use the public entrance (free path to the left of the camp) to avoid the fee. Bring water shoes.

A beautiful sand beach with a lively bar area and a quieter free zone. Camping nearby. The rocky cliffs on the left are spectacular for exploring.

Tip: One of the best views of Mount Athos from any beach in Sithonia.

A small, wild cove with clean water and a peaceful atmosphere. Very few visitors — perfect for those seeking solitude and untouched nature.

Children: not recommended for swimming

Greece's deepest natural harbor, mentioned by ancient historian Thucydides. Come here for the extraordinary scenery and the freshest fish tavernas in Sithonia. Some swimming possible along the narrow sandy strips.

Tip: A must-stop for lunch. Order the catch of the day at any waterfront taverna.

A long, golden sand beach with crystal water and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The Ethnik beach bar is one of Sithonia's best — great cocktails, perfect music, barefoot vibes.

Tip: Stay for sunset at Ethnik. The DJ sets and the view are magical.

Sithonia's longest beach — over 2 km of sand, ancient ruins, and blue water. Part organized with sunbeds, part wild and free. A historic site with remnants of an ancient fortress visible on the headland.

Tip: Combine with Porto Koufo (5 km south) for a full southern Sithonia day trip.

Kalamitsi

Easy

Fine sand beach with a scenic rocky islet just offshore and small tavernas. One of the few beaches on the east coast sheltered from the wind, making it calm even when other beaches are choppy.

Tip: Perfect sunrise spot — the beach faces east. Worth the drive for the calm water alone.
